When ordering your dress or gown custom dresses usually take some time upwards of 3 months. But for those off the rack dresses think about the colors you enjoy wearing and the length of your dress. Most commonly just a hem on most dresses can help you achieve an entirely different look! As the mother of the bride or groom we congratulate you!
Here are some more common alterations:
- Hemming the bottom of the dress
- Redesign the sleeves
- Remove the sleeves
- Create a cover-up with excess material
- Add in beading
- Add in fabric to the dress in varying areas generally the bust area
- Add in bust cups
- Take in the top
- Add in vent to the sides
- Take up the shoulders
